The
WonderEsque Spiralizer Tri Blade is a cool product. We are trying to
eat healthier foods and it is the time of year to do that. I have
lots of friends giving my produce from their gardens so I thought I
would try this.
The
spiralizer suction cups to the counter. This way you don't have to
hold onto it while you turn the crank. It holds it very well. I
have not had trouble with it coming loose.
I
have used this to cut onions, cucumbers, potatoes, carrots, zucchini,
and more I cannot even remember. The carrots did not work as well
since mine were rather small. The spiralizer takes a piece out of
the center of the veggie so there was not much carrot left for me.
If you have large garden carrots this would work better for those.
The rest of my trials worked very nicely. My daughter loves the
ribbon potatoes just like at the fair. I like a ribbon salad I made
with cucumber ribbons. The zucchini makes good fake noodles. Just
do some experimenting and google for things to try.
The
extra blades store in the unit but they do not click in so they will
fall out. I wish they would stay in. So I just keep them in an
extra bag.
I
would recommend trying this. It is a lot of fun and helps make some
healthier food.
