I
love how the Hisen Picnic Basket Insulated Folding 20L (Green) folds
nice and flat. I used to have a picnic basket that took up lots of
space. I do wish that this was just a little bit bigger. I can put
a 9x13 cake pan in it but that is very snug on the bottom of the
basket. I will just deep that in mind when planning what I am
taking.
The
colors in the picture are off a bit. From the pictures I thought
that it was going to be more teal but it is definitely green. And
the stripes are much brighter too. I am ok with that but you should
be aware if you are trying to match anything.
Because
the basket is insulated canvas, it collapses for storage. The handle
folds down also. It probably collapses to about 3-4 inches. When
you want to use it you just hold the handle and pull the bottom down.
The
canvas velcros onto the metal frame so you could wash it if needed.
I have not done that but you could. I would not put it in the dryer
though.
The
top has a zipper so you can close it up tight to keep the hot or cold
in. I also like that it zips from both sides. The zipper pulls are
metal but the zipper is the regular plastic zipper like most of our
clothes have nowadays.
The
handle has a velcro canvas piece on it too so that you don't have to
just hang onto the metal handle.
The
stitching seems very well done and I do not see it coming apart any
time soon.
I
would recommend this to someone looking to buy something for keeping
your food cold or hot at a picnic. It would make a great gift for
someone filled with picnic stuff. My only thing is that I wish it was
a little larger to fit a 9x13 better.
