The Jouvelle Hair Straightener actually works very well.

It compares in size to the one my daughter has and works very similar. It is large enough to hang onto well but not too large so it feels nice in the hand.

There are buttons on the side to set the temp and turn it on. They have the blue accent color around them so you can find them easily. This may not seem important but my daughter's doesn't have this and I have trouble finding the buttons. I know she would not say the same and roll her eyes at me like teenagers do.

The cord swivels where it goes into the straightener so that it doesn't get tangled up.

It gets hot very quickly. I can start straightening my hair with in minutes.

It doesn't pull your hair but goes through smoothly.

I have short hair but a bunch of new cowlicks now that my hair is back after chemo. I use the straightener brush to try to get my hair to lay better. It helps. I just brush it slowly and it gets better.

I worry about it being so hot and have to really watch it around my grandkids. Their little fingers could get in between the bristles. There is a LED read out that will tell you how hot the brush is. I have found that I don't need to have it as hot as it gets. There is a guide in the instructions to help you know how hot you might need.

The Smart Diet Control - 7 Piece Portion Control Containers Kit with 21 day Meal Planner & Guide is a nice set of containers. These containers are meant to be like the 21 day fix diet containers.

Others have complained that the instructions are not very easy to read. I would agree with that.

Some of the words are legible but some are really hard to see. Also, if you are wanting to follow the diet it will be difficult with these instructions. I used my daughter in law's 21 day fix book and used that to figure out how to use the containers. Even then it takes a bit to figure out but we will see what happens.

As for the containers themselves, they work well. We have not had them leak yet but have not really put much liquid in them. The lids are snug, so snug that I have trouble opening them since I have neuropathy. Otherwise I would be fine. My daughter can open them just fine.

There are pictures on the outside of the containers so that you can keep track of what each is for without needing to remember what color is what.

The Fogless Shower Mirror for No Fog Shaving or Makeup has worked well for me so far. I like to take really hot showers that fog up my mirror totally. In order to do my hair and make up I need to either take a towel and wipe the mirror down or take my hair dryer and dry my mirror with that. It is a real nuisance. I have used a fog free mirror before but then ended up disappointed. So far I have been happy with this one. I will have to update this later if I find it quits working.

For starters I needed to put it up. This is different than any of the other ones that I have used. With this one you put the suction part up to the surface and then twist where it ways to get it to have a strong suction. There is a plastic film over the mirror for shipping. Don't forget to peel it off.

I dropped it once when I was trying to hang it. I have neuropathy and just lost hold of it. I was pleased that it did not break so I believe it is quite sturdy.

When I took a nice hot shower my regular mirror fogged up like usual. This one however, did not. I could see well and do my hair without problems.

There is a razor holder on the mirror that I won't use but I did hang a razor on it and it worked fine.

This is a decent mirror that works as promised. I think you will like it.

Homankit Silicone Baking Mat for Pizza or Pie Dough

The Homankit Silicone Baking Mat for Pizza or Pie Dough is a round silicone mat that is 11.5 inches. I find it is good for pie but I don't like it as well for pizza.

It was smaller than I thought it would be but that is my own fault for not reading well. It is nice for pie so that you don't have to worry about it sticking to the counter. You can pick up the mat and turn it over to put the crust in the pie plate. I hate when my crust sticks and I tear it so this is a plus for me. When I roll my pizza crust I roll it a little larger since it shrinks back a little when I put it on the pizza pan. I don't cook my pizza on the mat because I want it on the metal pan to get nice and crispy.

The mat is very easy to clean. Just put it in your water, rinse it and dry it. Then you can roll it back up and put it back in the box or just put it in a cupboard or drawer.

This is the only mat I have that fits in the microwave. There are times that I will use this in there for some of those sticky things that don't want to come off the plate after microwaving it.

Urban Zen - Ultra Comfortable Sleeping Mask

The Urban Zen - Ultra Comfortable Sleeping Mask is not bad. Here are my thoughts.

The strap is adjustable which is important for the fit. I can make it fit nicely without too much trouble.

There is a nice carrying bag which is nice for when I travel. I don't use the bag at home but will in a suitcase.

There are washing instructions but I have not had the need to wash it yet. I will update if I have a problem with that in the future. Be aware though that these instructions are on the box so you need to keep that or cut that part off of the box. Don't just throw it away without reading first.

The mask itself does not bulge out as much for the eyes as the other ones that my daughter and I use. The fabric is more likely to be against your eyes.

The fabric is extra smooth and soft which makes it very comfortable.

There is a little light that leaks through around the nose so the darkness is not absolute. If this will bother you be aware.

This came with earplugs too which I do not use so I cannot say much about those except that they have a little plastic case to put them in so you don't lose them. This would also help keep them from being damaged.

Compared to my other two, I like the others better because of how close this one is to my eyes but I would recommend this if you don't mind that. It is a quality product.

Uno Casa Snack Serving Set with forks

The Uno Casa Snack Serving Set is a five piece set with a bowl and four appetizer forks. If you like serving pieces this is a nice one. The serving part is around the outside and then there is a part in the middle that holds the forks. I wouldn't actually call them forks but more like pics since the end is not forked. If you have lots of people and want more than four forks you can put toothpicks in the middle. They work great in there too.

It is made of ceramic so be careful not to drop it. But this makes it much nicer looking. It is also a very nice white.

This set can be used with olives, cheese cubes, sausage bites, little meatballs, candies, fruit, and lots of other little pieces. I kept it out with candy in it just like a candy dish just because I like it.

I love that it is dishwasher safe. I hate to hand wash so this is important to me.

I would definitely recommend this if you like serving pieces. It is nice looking and useful for many different things.

The Vino Luxe Premium Waiter's Corkscrew with a Rosewood Handle is a nice piece.

The foil cutter has a serated edge and does a really good job cutting the foil and since it is attached to the opener, I won't lose it.

This is a nice heavy product, not light at all.

The handle looks really nice and is polished. If you are using it for a gift, it will not look cheap at all.

This works very well. You just screw the screw into the cork and then put the fulcrum against the lip of the bottle and pull the cork right out. The fulcrum has a hinge on it so it worked better than some I have used in the past.

I tried it out on Mother's Day to celebrate but had a backup opener ready since I have had openers break on me before. This one did not disappoint and I did not need the back up.

I do not plan to try putting this in the dishwasher since it has the wooden handle. If it needs washing I will do it by hand and open it up to dry. This would be the only con I have found for it but it is not a big deal since I don't find the need to wash them a lot.

I would recommend this for anyone looking for a simple compact wine opener that has everything all together.

These can be set right close to the ground or there are 2 extenders for each light. I only use one for each. If you use both they will get quite tall. This could be great if they are right next to a retaining wall or something that you need to raise them a little. You can also vary them and put three on one and one on the other and such. I left mine all the same with one.

The lights were giving nice light until we had clouds all week. They have not been lighting at night since they could not charge. I do have them under a tree too so that did not help. The amount of light is not too much but gives a nice guiding light.

The ground is very wet here and the stake went right into the ground. I am not sure how sturdy they would be in a hard dry dirt. They could have a metal stake but then they would have to charge more. For now I am very happy with the way they went into our soil.

If the batteries go bad you can replace them with rechargeable AA batteries. I have not had to do this though. I was very glad that the batteries were included. I hate when products come without batteries.

I would recommend these if you need a light that will not be so bright to make it like day time but will guide a person where to walk.

The Chef Remi Cooking Thermometer worked well for me. It is digital as opposed to a dial. When I compared the two the temperatures matched.

There is an on off button and if you forget to turn it off after 10 minutes it will turn off automatically.

It measures both Celsius and Fahrenheit. You can switch between the two with the push of a button.

The screen has an LED readout and it is easy to read.

It comes in a plastic tube that you can use for a case when you are not using the thermometer.

When I turned it on, it read the temp in the room right away. Then I stuck the probe into my chicken and it too a little bit but not too long to get to the temp. If the temperature of the chicken was closer to room temp it would have not taken as long. Basically I overcooked the chicken and it took longer to get to the correct temperature.
