The
Corkscrew Wine Opener with a Classic Two Arm Design finally worked
for me. The last 2 corkscrews I had broke the first time I used
them. One was a very cheap T shaped one where you twist it in and
pull. The other one looked much like this one. Both of those broke
the first use and we had to jimmy the cork out with the screw broken
off in it. So I wasn't holding out much hope for this one. I was
pleasantly surprised! I have only used it once but it worked with out
breaking.
It
seems to be heavy duty and not all flimsy.
You
hold it on the bottle and turn the top and the screw goes into the
bottle as the arms raise. Then you pull the arms down together and
it pulls the cork out with little effort.
It
is dishwasher safe but I will handwash it if it ever needs it.
It
is a nice looking product if you want to use it as a gift. You could
put this with a bottle of wine in a wind bucket for a housewarming
gift.
This
fits in a drawer easily. That way you can find it whenever you need
it.
I
would recommend this corkscrew wine opener for someone that is
looking for a nice wine opener. There are fancier ones out there but
they require a bit more money. I think you will like this one
though.
