I
love the GridLite Portable LED Camping Lantern Flashlight. I have
another one similar to this one and wanted another.
It
is about the size of a can of soda. May be just a tiny bit fatter.
It
has handles too. They fold down when not in use and then you pull
them up and pull the lantern and it comes up and turns on. When you
want to turn off the lantern you just push it closed again. You can
hang it from the handles too. Or you can just set it on a table or
the floor. I will be hanging it from the ceiling of my tent.
It
is lightweight. I can even hook it onto my belt with a caribiner.
It is light enough that it doesn't pull down too hard but sends light
where I am working.
It
is really surprising how much light this little thing puts out. The
light nicely fills a room.
My
only problem with it is that the batteries are not included. It
really bothers me when things don't come with batteries. Definitely
not a deal breaker but bothers me. Also, it is easy to change the
batteries. You don't need any tools. The bottom of the lantern just
unscrews (like a lid) and you put the 3 AA batteries in.
I
have and plan to use this for when the electricity goes off in the
house, camping, picnics, in the van in case of car trouble, and for
in the treehouse. I hope you won't be disappointed.
