The
Chef Remi Cooking Thermometer worked well for me. It is digital as
opposed to a dial. When I compared the two the temperatures matched.
There
is an on off button and if you forget to turn it off after 10 minutes
it will turn off automatically.
It
measures both Celsius and Fahrenheit. You can switch between the two
with the push of a button.
The
screen has an LED readout and it is easy to read.
It
comes in a plastic tube that you can use for a case when you are not
using the thermometer.
When
I turned it on, it read the temp in the room right away. Then I
stuck the probe into my chicken and it too a little bit but not too
long to get to the temp. You can see how long it took in the video.
It was about 25 seconds. I am fine with that. I don't need it to be
immediate. If the temperature of the chicken was closer to room temp
it would have not taken as long. Basically I overcooked the chicken
and it took longer to get to the correct temperature.
It
was very east to use so I would recommend this to you if you are
looking for a thermometer that works well but doesn't take up too
much room in a drawer.
