My daughter was having trouble with jaw pain.  When she went to the doctor she was told it was TMJ and that she should try a night mouth guard.  You can get these at the dentist but they are very expensive so we thought we would try a cheaper alternative first.  The Dental Protector--Professional Mouth Guard for Bruxism, Teeth Grinding, and Clenching with Travel Case is a nice product.  There are a few things that I especially like about this one.

Pros:

• It comes with 2 pieces so you can either have an extra or one for the top and the bottom.  This is nice also because I wasn’t as worried that
I would do it wrong because I could already try it again.  Just remember that you only wear one at night not both.

• It wasn’t too hard to form.  I had done this before for my son’s football mouth guard.  You simmer some water on the stove and then put the piece in the water for about 30 second if I remember correctly and then form it in your mouth.  It worked well for us.

• There is a case for it.  This way my daughter won’t lose it as quickly.

• It fits well and is comfortable so she wears it.

• It is 100% guaranteed.  I am not sure how this works since I did not need to use that part.

Cons:

• The instructions are small and hard to read.  Might be my cataracts though.
