When I got the Kitchen Herb Shears (5 Blades) and Kitchen Scissors Set, Soft Handle, Red and Black, Extra Sharp, Professional Grade Stainless Steel Culinary Food with Cooking Ebook, I did not know what all I was getting.  This is a nice set though.  Here are my thoughts:

Pros:

• If your house is anything like mine, I can NEVER find my kitchen shears when I need it.  This set has a big magnetic holder for the shears.   I put it on my fridge so now I can see at a glance if any of the kids have grabbed it and not put it back.  I always know where to find it.

• The blades are VERY sharp!!!  Be very careful so you don’t cut yourself.

• These items are dishwasher safe.  They recommend hand washing but say you can also use the dishwasher.  I hate handwashing so this is good for me.

• I had never used an herb shears before so I wasn’t sure what to do with it.  I tried it with my green onions and it worked great.  I also put my cabbage in a bowl in chunks and took the shears and kept cutting to make a good coleslaw.

• It also has a little comb thing to clean out between the blades of the herb shears.

Cons:

• The peeler on the kitchen shears is a bit awkward to me.  Not a big deal though.  I only plan to use it as a scissors.
So this is a nice set that comes in a box so you could easily wrap it as a gift.  I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
