I got the #1 Dwelling Place® Baby Car Mirror | FREE STROLLER HOOKS | Back Seat Mirror | Rear Facing Car Seat to use as part of a gift for my daughter-in-law.  These things have sure changed since I had my children.  They are so much nicer.
These now strap onto the headrest. The straps are adjustable so they will not slide around.  The straps click together with the clicky buckles.  When I put it on the headrest it was very easy and the mirror fit on there snugly.  It also came off easily when I took it off.
The mirror also comes as 2 pieces.  There is the piece that fits against the headrest and then the mirror itself.  They fit together with a ball and socket type connector.  This is how the mirror swivels so that it is in a spot to be able to see the child.  I like how this way I am able to adjust it to whether I am in the driver’s seat or the passenger seat.  I was never able to do that with my child.
The mirror is clear and thick.  I think it should last a long time and not just fall apart.
I would recommend this if you are looking for a way to allow your baby to see you from his/her rear facing carseat.  I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
