SterlingPro Pear Shape Doublewall Stainless Steel Mirror Finish French Coffee Press, 35-ounce

I am not a coffee drinker like my husband but I do like tea. I had the chance to get the SterlingPro Pear Shape French Press and knew I wanted to try it.  Here are my thoughts on it after trying it:

Pros:

• It is double wall insulated.  I really like this because then I can make my tea and keep drinking without brewing more.

• It has double filters so the coffee grounds and tea leaves do not get through. I have had a stray tea leaf but it was probably a leaf I got in the water myself.

• If you don’t like coffee you can use tea.  I actually love that I can use loose tea leaves and some raspberries too.  When I press them the raspberry seeds don’t go through so I don’t get them in my teeth.  And it tastes GREAT!!

• It is made of stainless steel so I don’t have to worry about rust.

• It is dishwasher safe.  I love this part too.  I hate to handwash.

• The handle does not get hot.  I thought it would but it doesn’t.

• The plunger slides nice and smoothly.

• There are 2 extra filters included.

Cons:

• Be careful or you will lose the extra filters.  They are loose in the box and I almost did not see them.

• Not a really big deal but to change the filters you need to unscrew a nut.  It can be a little awkward.

Ideas:

• I have tried tea, coffee and cocoa.

• Add milk or cream for a treat.  This is even good with the tea and berries.
