This “BBQ Tool Set, Quality Barbecue Toolset, Tongs, Fork, Burger Flipper, Salt & Pepperset, Corkscrew, Bottle Opener” is a great set.  I have seen lots of sets that have LOTS more pieces but this one seems just right.  Here are my thoughts on this set:

Pros:

• There is no wood on this set.  If I am going to throw this in the dishwasher, which is what I do, I don’t like it to have wood parts.  They dry out
and crack in the dishwasher.

• These are stainless steel so they go in the dishwasher without worries and also they do not rust.  If I leave it out by mistake I don’t have to worry that the rain will bother it.

• It comes with a canvas bag that has a handle.  This is really nice for when we go to the park and grill there.  The bag is sturdy enough that I think it will last for a long time.

• It has little salt and pepper shakers.  Again, when we grill at the park it is nice to have these along.  We actually put a seasoning salt in the pepper shaker.  We don’t tend to use the pepper so much when grilling.

• It has the tools I want and not a bunch of other stuff I will never use.  Why pay for stud you don’t want/use?  I use a spatula, fork and tongs and those are included.  It also has a combo corkscrew, bottle opener and knife.  I won’t use this all the time but the knife and bottle opener comes in handy sometimes.

Cons:

• The only thing I have found is that  the tools are a little smaller than I am used to.  This is nice for taking it to the park but not a really big deal for me at home.

All in all I really like this set.  It is sturdy and nice for grilling.  It would make a great wedding or shower gift too.

Hanging Chair/Hammock Chair Swivel Hook by Cravegreens® - 500 LB Capacity - Outdoor/Indoor

I have not been able to use this Hanging Chair/Hammock Chair Swivel Hook by Cravegreens yet since I don’t have my chair yet but I am impressed by the feel of it.  It feels very heavy.  I have utmost confidence that this will hold a hanging chair without any issues. It seems to swivel nicely.  I am thinking it will be nice for a tire swing for the grandkids.  I am buying another one.  They would love that!  The hook is about 4 inches long. SterlingPro Pear Shape Doublewall Stainless Steel Mirror Finish French Coffee Press, 35-ounce

I am not a coffee drinker like my husband but I do like tea. I had the chance to get the SterlingPro Pear Shape French Press and knew I wanted to try it.  Here are my thoughts on it after trying it:

Pros:

• It is double wall insulated.  I really like this because then I can make my tea and keep drinking without brewing more.

• It has double filters so the coffee grounds and tea leaves do not get through. I have had a stray tea leaf but it was probably a leaf I got in the water myself.

• If you don’t like coffee you can use tea.  I actually love that I can use loose tea leaves and some raspberries too.  When I press them the raspberry seeds don’t go through so I don’t get them in my teeth.  And it tastes GREAT!!

• It is made of stainless steel so I don’t have to worry about rust.

• It is dishwasher safe.  I love this part too.  I hate to handwash.

• The handle does not get hot.  I thought it would but it doesn’t.

• The plunger slides nice and smoothly.

• There are 2 extra filters included.

Cons:

• Be careful or you will lose the extra filters.  They are loose in the box and I almost did not see them.

• Not a really big deal but to change the filters you need to unscrew a nut.  It can be a little awkward.

Ideas:

• I have tried tea, coffee and cocoa.

• Add milk or cream for a treat.  This is even good with the tea and berries.

Hyssop (Large 4 ounce) Best Essential Oil from Sun Organic

I had not tried Hyssop essential oil before now.  When I had the opportunity to receive this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, I decided it would be a good time to try it. I used it in a few different ways before leaving the review.  I did a little research and these are the ways I tried it:

• I mixed a little (2 or 3 drops) of the hyssop oil with vapor rub and put it on my chest before bed.  It seemed like it helped with being able to have a productive cough.  This helped me sleep better.

• I used it in my diffuser.  This helped me breathe better during the day.  If you have allergies you might try this and see if it works for you.

To start off I hate to do hand wash laundry.  It is a pain to try to get it soaped and then rinse it enough so the soap doesn’t bother the fabric.  Whenever I can put it in the wash I do.  In the past I have just had a mesh bag that zipped at the top.  I would shove my stuff in it and hope it came out in good shape.  I didn’t even know that they had different size and shaped bags.  Then I got the opportunity to receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, I decided to try it out and see if it was better than what I have used in the past.  It was!  Here are my thoughts on this set:

Pros:

• It appears to me that the zipper is not going to rust.  I am not sure what it is made of but so far it looks good to me.

• These bags have a thicker fabric. It almost seems to be two layers stuck together.  One has a larger mesh  and one is a smaller mesh.

• The zipper won’t catch on your items or get caught on the bag.  It has a place where you can tuck the zipper pull in so it is not coming loose or catching on anything.

• The bra bags hold their shape in the wash.  See my pictures which I took before and after to show you.

• They are pretty.  Not a big deal but is a plus if you give it for a gift.

• There are lots of choices for everything.  Just pick which one fits the items you have.

Cons:

• I haven’t found any yet!!  :)

This is a great set and I am very impressed by them.  I plan to get them for my daughter for a gift.  Shh don’t tell her. :)  I hope you like them as well as I do.

I have some older car chargers and they don’t seem to work so well anymore.  They get hot and so I got a new one.  I spent quite a bit on it and I was not impressed and still wanted something that worked.  So when I had the opportunity to receive the BONAZZA Premium Smart Car Charger at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, I thought I would try it.  Here are my honest thoughts:

Pros:

• It swivels to make it easier to get at the charger holes.  Also, if your cord sticks out it doesn’t get in the way.

• It has a feature that makes it so it will not overcharge.  This should help your battery last longer.

• It is faster than my other chargers that I have used.  I use it for my flip phone and for my kindle fire.  It has worked well for both of those.

• It charges two devices at once.  And it seems like both charge just as well as if only one was charging.  Also, we don’t have to have a fight over who needs to charge their device at once if we are travelling.  This has always been an issue.

• It also has a feature that automatically knows what voltage to charge at so it is not damaging your device.

• It shows voltage, temperature and current.

• The LED display can be read in the dark.

Cons:

• It is a little bulkier than some of the others I have had.

All in all it seems like this is a very nice charger.  For me it has worked well and charged quickly enough.  I would recommend it to others.  I hope you like it.

Simple & Flexible 3-piece Silicone Spatula Set

I love my pampered chef silicone spatulas and was looking of more but without paying the price of those.  I tried some others and they were too heavy and stiff so I really did not like them.  Then when I had the chance to receive these discounted in exchange for my honest review, I jumped at it.  I am impressed.  Here are my honest thoughts:

Pros:

• There are three sizes.  This is nice because I use them all.  The smallest is nice for things like mayo and peanut butter.  The next larger is nice for mixing things.  Then the largest is nice for when you need to scoop and mix.

• The handles have holes in them for hanging.  I have them hanging on the inside of my cupboard door.  They are nice and handy that way.

• They are dishwasher safe.  This is a MUST for me!  If it can’t go in the dishwasher it usually goes to Goodwill.

• The largest is spoonlike.  You can use it to scrape the bowl/pan as well as mix and serve with it.

• They are silicone so they can withstand heat.  I like to use the large one when I stirfry.  It hasn’t melted yet.

• It is good on nonstick surfaces.  I hate when things scratch my pans and these won’t.

Cons:

• The packaging is just on a thin cardboard backing. This is not a big deal except if you want to give them for a gift.  It would look a little cheap then.

• The handles are not heat resistant.  If you rest them on the hot pan you run the risk of them being melted a bit.

• The handles and tips are separate pieces so they can come apart and food could get in the cracks.

All in all it is a good little set of silicone spatulas.  The 7.95 price tag is definitely worth it.  I hope you like them too.

I have had a lot of trouble getting the right consistency for mashed potatoes. Either they are chunky or gluey from being overmixed. It is hard to get it right. Well, when I saw this item I remembered my grandma used to make the best mashed potatoes and she used a ricer similar to this one. When I had the opportunity to receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, I went for it! I was anxious to see if it would make a difference. Boy, am I glad I did! Here are my thoughts:

Pros:

• Dishwasher safe. This is important for me since I HATE to wash dishes. I have found that I need to rinse it off right away since potatoes are sticky and hard to wash when they have dried.

• 3 removable grates. You can choose what consistency you want. They each have their purposes.

• Stainless steel. This is important so I know it is not going to rust in the dishwasher or if it gets wet.

• It seals well so that very little gets around the edges.

• It is easy to squeeze.

• It makes great mashed potatoes! :)

Cons:

• My only issue is that on occasion the grate pulls up when you open it.

Suggestions:

• Boil your potatoes and then put them through the ricer. Add a little butter and milk and stir just until mixed. Your potatoes will be light and fluffy.

• Boil apples and send them through the ricer for great applesauce.

• You can make baby food with this too although I have not.

In conclusion, this is a great product! I am finally glad to have consistently great mashed potatoes. If you are thinking about this, just go for it. I do not think you will regret it!

I was amazed by this wonderful little package from Kimko.  When I got the box, my first thought was, “Is that all it is?”  But then I opened the box and checked it over and changed my attitude. It is a fantastic little ear thermometer.

Pros:

• You can use it with any age.  I used it on myself and my grandchildren.

• It feels sturdy.  It is plastic but doesn’t feel cheap.

• It measures in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

• It is a small little thing.  This makes it easier to hide if you have a child that gets scared of such things.  It also makes it easy to take in a purse or diaper bag.

• It comes with a nice little zipper pouch.  This helps to keep it clean in your purse or diaper bag.

• It is easy to use.  You turn it on with one button and then use it with another.  This makes it easy.

• It beeps when the temp is read.  This is nice when you are trying to take your own temperature.  I had a different one that you just have to guess when you take your own and that did not work so well for me.

• The battery I included.  I LOVE when batteries are included with a product.

• The screen is backlit so it is easy to use in the dark.  This comes in handy if you have a sick child.

• When you turn it on you wait for a little pic of an ear.  This way you know it is ready when you start taking the temperature.

• It has a recall feature so you can check what the last readings.  I think it will recall the last 10.

• It will shut off after a minute or so when you forget to turn it off.  This is a good one for me since I always forget.

Cons:

• This is not a big deal for me but I thought I would point out that it advertises that it takes one second but it really takes just a few.  It isn’t long but different from what they said.

So all in all this was a big surprise to me.  This is a great little thermometer. It would make a great baby gift for someone.   I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I really recommend this one if you are in the market for an ear thermometer.

Yoga Mat by Youphoria Yoga - 1/4" Thick Eco Friendly Lightweight Comfortable High Density Memory Foam Mats

I ordered this Youphoria Yoga yoga mat for my daughter.  She had been bugging me to buy her one and so when I had the opportunity to receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, I jumped on it.  She had one that she had bought at Walmart but she did not like it for many reasons.  This one did not disappoint her.  All the things she did not like about the other one she liked on this one.  I will be honest, I did not use it myself (that is NOT happening lol) but she gave me her thoughts about it and that is what I am posting. 

Pros:

It grips when you are doing the yoga stuff.  Her feet and hands don’t slip like they did not the cheap one. 

It is large enough.  I guess some are smaller than this but this one is a nice one that is big enough to do the exercises properly. 

It has a strap to carry it with.  Now, she only uses it at home but this is really nice.  She keeps it in her room and the straps keep it rolled up and out of the way.  She plans to start at the gym so if she does, it will be easy to bring her own. 

It is soft.  The memory foam makes it nice and comfortable.  She said that it feels really good.

Cons:

I ordered the black and she would have like one of the colors so not much of a con since you could order a colored one.

If you are looking for a yoga mat this is a great one to get.  My daughter said she recommends it to anyone.
