The
Vinomaster Wine Bottle Lever Screwpull Opener Gift Set impressed me
when I opened it. It seems to be very heavy duty. I expected it to
be much lighter. My daughter has one that is similar and she loves
hers so I thought I would try one too.
Other
than it being so heavy right from the start I was impressed with the
nice box it came in. This would make it very easy to give as a gift.
I can imagine giving it as a wedding or housewarming gift with a
bottle of wine. They would love it.
When
I used it I found that it didn't work quite as smoothly as I wanted
but I still liked it. I had to hold on to the bottle a bit to get it
to go into the cork. I think it was more just me trying to get the
hang of it and learning how this kind works.
Also,
when I pulled the cork out it did not come all the way out. I had to
pull it out the rest of the way with the opener. I am not sure if
this will make the opener weak at some point. There is an extra
screw part that comes with it so if that part breaks I can still use
it.
The
foil cutter works well too.
I
would recommend trying this wine opener. I like it and it would make
a great gift.
