Calily(tm) Premium Aromatherapy Essential Oil Basic Starters Gift Set

The Calily(tm) Premium Aromatherapy Essential Oil Basic Starters Gift Set is a nice way to start and try out some new essential oils. I have not used essential oils for long but have used some and really like them. The Calily ones are very comparable to the very expensive ones I have used.

Pros:

* They come sealed in a beautiful gift box. There is plastic around the box which makes can give you confidence that no liquid will get in or out of the box in shipping. It is a nice chocolate brown box with a tan paper wrapped around it which makes it look fancy. You need to cut the tan paper to open the box.

* They are 100% pure. You don't need to worry about paying for fillers.

* The bottles are a nice size. Each is 10 oz. so you can get a lot of uses out of each one.

* The bottles are a dark amber so the light does not get to them and they stay fresh.

* The bottles are sealed with the plastic ring that is attached to the cap kind of like a soda/pop bottle or water bottle.

* The droppers on the bottle (see the picture) are very easy to control. I hate when you try to get a drop and gets many drops. You will not have that with these.

* These are the oils that are included with this set. Bergamot (Citrus bergamia), Spearmint (Mentha spicata), Lemon (Citrus limon), Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin), Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), Peppermint (Mentha piperita), Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea), Cinnamon Leaf (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Globules), Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis), Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), Lime (Citrus aurantifolia) , Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis).

Cons:

* The bottles are quite tight in the box so be careful when you try to get them out. You don't want to break one.

* They are not suggested to be used internally.

Uses:

* Before I knew about essential oils I used to use a cotton ball and put PineSol on it and hide it so my husband would think that I had cleaned. (shh don't tell lol) Now I use different oils to make it smell fresh and clean.

* I take a clean washcloth and put a few drops of something fresh like orange or lavender oil on it. Toss it in the dryer with your clothes and you an smell them on your clothes a long time.

* I have added some to lotion that has no scent.

* I diffuse it in my Calily cool mist diffuser.

* Some people use them as massage oils. I have not tried that yet.
