GalleyFresh Kitchenware Professional V-Slicer, Mandoline Slicer, Food Chopper, Fruit & Vegetable Cutter, 7 Piece Set

My daughter was moving out so I got this GalleyFresh Kitchenware Professional V-Slicer, Mandoline Slicer, Food Chopper, Fruit & Vegetable Cutter, 7 Piece Set and gave her my old one.  This one has a lot more options than the one that I had.  Here are my thoughts:

Pros:

• It has rubber feet that keep it from slipping.  This is really good for safety.  I have neuropathy and have a hard time holding things.  This helps me feel safe using it.

• It is easy to clean!  It just rinses off and then I put it in the dishwasher.  No stuck on mess.

• It has 5 blade choices.  This is much better than my old one.  There are 3 sizes for slices and 2 different julienne choices.  This makes me happy and I can make thick or thin slices.

• It has a food holder/guard.  It has prongs that hold the food as you slice it.  Again this is a good thing for my neuropathy.  I worry about cutting myself but not with this one.

• It is very sharp!  Do not touch any of the blades. You WILL get cut.

• It is made of plastic and stainless.

• The blades are easy to change.  You just push the red button and switch the blades.

• There is a storage case for the blades.  Again, the blades are sharp and you do not want them floating around in a drawer to cut you.

Cons:

• It takes up a bit of space in the drawer.  I consider it worth it though for the benefit you get from it.

• I wish it had a grater too.

This is a great slicer.  It gives options and works very well.  I think you will not be disappointed. It says there is a 100% money back guarantee.  I do not know how that works.  I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
