CMS 500DL Generation 2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor with silicon cover

The CMS 500DL Generation 2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor with silicon cover, batteries and lanyard is a nice little oximeter.  Here are my thoughts on it:

Pros:

• It uses 2 AAA batteries and they are INCLUDED!  I love when the batteries come with it.  Nothing more frustrating than getting a package and then realizing that you can’t even try it out since you don’t’ have the batteries.

• It has a lanyard with it o I can keep track of it.  This is very nice for my mother since she can hang it on her walker.  It is always there and she can check herself.

• It has a silicone cover.  This makes it easy to clean.  I can send the cover through the dishwasher.

• The pinch of it on your finger is comfortable.  When it is too loose it falls off. This one works well.

• It is accurate.  I took it along to my dr appointment and it was spot on to the one there.  This makes me comfortable knowing it is accurate.

• The reading is right side up for the person whose finger it is on.  This is very nice for my elderly mother since she can get confused easily.

• It only takes a few seconds to get the reading.

Cons:

• I haven’t found any yet!
