A number of years ago my family went to Los Angeles with my sister-in-law and her family. I first saw lights like these there since it was Christmas time. I thought they were so cool. Whenever I see them I think about our time in LA and feel good inside. I finally have some for myself. I also ordered some white ones.

These are solar powered. I like the idea of not having to plug them in each night especially since we don't have an outlet outside. There is a stake so that you can put it in the ground in the sun.  The stake swivels so that you can make it face the sun too. 

There is an on/off button. When they are on they will sense when it is dark and turn on. When it gets light again the lights turn off automatically. This is very convenient.

The lights have motion so it appears to be falling. It is really cool.

I am so thrilled to have these for my own now. I will sit and think about my time in Los Angeles with my family and feel all cozy inside. That is what Christmas is all about for me-family and love. These will give me both.
